Andrew Tate's Arrest Is Bigger Than Andrew Tate: Let's Talk About Feminism & the Manosphere
About this episode
Andrew Tate just got arrested, and in this episode of The Unapologetic Man Podcast, host Mark Sing uses it to dig into something much bigger: what's really broken in the manosphere, where feminism went too far, and why the loudest voices on both sides are the ones worth trusting the least. Mark breaks down why guys like Tate end up as the face of the "red pill," shares why he walked away from being featured in Louis Theroux's documentary Inside the Manosphere, and tells a personal story about being judged and hated on in his own neighborhood, and what choosing love over ego actually looks like. Whether you're deep in the red pill world, skeptical of it, or just tired of watching men and women get pitted against each other online, this episode will give you a lot to think about. Key Takeaways: - Why Andrew Tate's arrest is bigger than Andrew Tate - The difference between real masculinity and the toxic side of the manosphere - Behind the scenes of Louis Theroux's "Inside the Manosphere" documentary - Why extremism on both the feminist and red pill sides holds zero water - A personal story on choosing love over ego when someone judges you unfairly Key Timestamps: [00:00:00] – Episode Intro [00:00:39] – Andrew Tate's arrest and why it's bigger than him [00:02:20] – The Manosphere, the Red Pill, and being a counterbalance to the extremes [00:04:52] – Inside Louis Theroux's documentary: why Mark walked away, and the Myron Gaines example [00:08:56] – "Toxic masculinity," the feminism movement, and extremism on both sides [00:11:20] – Why everyone has value: Epstein, Diddy, Tate, and the evolution of consciousness [00:13:56] – What the Red Pill actually means (and doesn't) [00:15:02] – A personal story: the neighbor who wouldn't give Mark a chance [00:21:05] – Choosing love over ego [00:23:33] – Episode Outro

But today's episode is about Andrew Tate, the red pill, masculinity, feminism, things like that. I get a lot of hate because I'm in this niche, but I really feel like I'm different because oftentimes the manosphere goes extreme. And you have characters like Andrew Tate who unfortunately represent the manosphere, the red pill movement, the movement that I too participate in. But again, I try to be a counterbalance to that. I think there's a ton of toxicity out there, and I think that before you can have growth, you have to have collapse so that something new can grow out of it.
The Unapologetic Man Podcast. Andrew Tate was recently arrested for accusations including rape, human trafficking, assault, and child pornography. He's going to be extradited to England, but he's also accused in Romania for doing these things. So we always have to understand innocent until proven guilty, but let's be honest, boys. Come on now. He probably did some of this stuff. Now, I'm not saying he did everything, but it just cracks me up because this dude is like so full of himself when it comes to imagine yourself masturbating, bro.
Look at your fucking face when you're masturbating and he's doing child porn again, innocent until proven guilty. All right, I understand, but let's be real about it. It's funny to me when people like super accuse you of things and like come at you with this really aggressive energy, this like negative, intense anger about something. And his big thing was like, don't masturbate. And I agree with a lot of what he says, but it's just funny to me when people come at you with that energy, many times there they are doing it themselves.
And that just cracks me up. And I do it too, boys. Like I yell at you guys because a lot of you guys are podcast jockeys. Do you know who was the biggest podcast jockey that ever existed? This guy right here. Who has two thumbs? It was a podcast jockey. This guy. So oftentimes we yell at people for things that we did too. The difference is, yeah, I was a podcast jockey, but I finally fucking snapped out of it and started putting in the work. And that's why I got the results.
Listening to podcasts continuously isn't going to change your life very much. You have to implement. But today's episode is about Andrew Tate, the red pill, masculinity, feminism, things like that. And I just kind of want to explore this topic because it is a niche that I'm in. I get a lot of hate because I'm in this niche, but I really feel like I'm different than these guys that were featured on, I believe it was called Inside the Manosphere by Louis Theroux, which I'm also going to talk about.
There's a lot of people attacking the Manosphere, and honestly, rightly so, because oftentimes the Manosphere goes extreme. And you have characters like Andrew Tate who unfortunately represent the Manosphere, the red pill movement, the movement that I too participate in. But again, I try to be a counterbalance to that. So what do I think about the Andrew Tate arrest? I think he's probably arrested because there was probably some of that stuff that he did. I think the dude's pretty well fucked. He's pretty well cooked. He's getting extradited to the UK.
Romania is also interested in extraditing him to their country, although I don't know if they're going to do it. But I think the dude is probably cooked. We're probably not going to hear much from him anymore. And honestly, it's sad. It's not sad because he got arrested if he did those things. It's sad because there's so much contentiousness in this masculine versus feminine movement. And I really try to be a counterbalance to it. I really try to stand in the middle and see the worth of both masculinity and femininity and preach the message of why can't we just all work together?
Why can't we all see and leverage each other's strengths so that we can move on and have peace in humanity? That's what I'm all about, man. I'm all about being at peace, getting the best life possible. Yeah, I agree with Andrew Tate and a lot that what he says. Fucking be self-reliant. Dig deep. Be a fucking man. Step deep into your masculinity. Be proud that you're masculine. But the whole like women belong in the kitchen thing or what he says a lot of times is that women are men's property.
It's like, come on, bro. Are we living in the 1600s? Like, let's try to advance. That kind of rhetoric, in my opinion, doesn't do anything to evolve human consciousness. And that's what consciousness is. It's an evolution. And I feel I want to be representational of the next step of human evolution, which is based on what? And I rarely say this word because it's so precious what it points to. But it's based on love. And love is essentially recognizing the strengths in others, seeing that others are just like you.
They're a soul just like you are, trying to do the best for themselves, having compassion and working together. I don't understand why we can't do that. The Manosphere, right? What was it called? Inside the Manosphere. And I got pretty far through the interviews to be on that documentary. I was contacted by this really cool guy called Ollie. We talked like six, seven, eight times. He actually got on a call with me and a bunch of my clients. And they wanted me to be on that documentary.
But I did a lot of research on Louis Theroux. And he oftentimes will change the narrative to make certain scenes look bad. And I knew he was going to do that with the Manosphere. So I told him, hey, I don't want to be involved in this because I can't control the narrative. And I'll tell you, boys, that was the right decision. Actually, I think probably they would have nixed me by the time they realized like, oh, this guy's preaching love. This guy's preaching how men can love themselves again, step into their masculinity.
This guy's preaching how women, too, have value. Oh, we don't want anything to do with him. Instead, they chose a bunch of like super polarizing figures in the Manosphere who honestly, when I watched that thing, I was like, dude, this is just a bunch of hatred. It's a bunch of guys who had bad experiences with women when they were children or whose moms were really mean to them or more likely whose dads were abused and started abusing them. If you watch that movie, it is extremely toxic in its energy.
And Louis Theroux plays the part of like, oh, I'm just some like innocent guy trying to learn about the Manosphere. Meanwhile, he's using this like passive aggressive approach to point out how these guys are like super misogynist. Yeah, a lot of them are. But they're an infinitesimally small representation of guys like you and me who are just good fucking dudes who want to do right, who want to be loving, who have daughters. How can Andrew Tate have a daughter? He has a daughter. How can he have a daughter and like collect childhood porn?
Oops, I'm sorry. Innocent until proven guilty. That's right. We don't know that he did that. We don't have any evidence for that. Come on. And what I see from the guys in the Manosphere and what I see a lot in the red pill movement, which I'm also going to discuss, is just this toxicity, this negativity, this like hatred of women because of some experience you had in your past that you honestly haven't fucking dealt with. There's a guy from the Fresh and Fit podcast, Myron Gaines, who is on the documentary Inside the Manosphere.
If you haven't watched it, watch it and pay attention to this dude. So what happens is Louis Thoreau is sitting there talking to him and Louis Thoreau pulls up his cell phone and pulls up like some super misogynistic quote that this guy Myron said on one of his podcasts, like women belong in the kitchen or women are the property of men or something he really likes to say is women's value is in their vaginas and their titties. So Louis Thoreau pulls up this clip and while he's doing it, watch the body language of Myron.
He quickly drinks his drink. His body language closes up. You can tell he's insecure and needing to defend himself because ultimately those beliefs, those comments that he makes comes from toxicity, comes from negativity, and comes from ego. I can tell you, boys, this is very simple. Anything that you do that's negative, any opinion that you have that's anti-others like racism, prejudice, saying that all females are fucking bitches, or as Myron likes to say, their only worth comes from their pussies and titties. Anytime you make some kind of extreme, narcissistic, negative, ego-based comment like that, it holds absolutely no water.
You cannot rationally tell me that black people are less than white people, like if you're racist. You cannot rationally tell me that black people are better than white people. You cannot rationally tell me that women are less than men, or women are better than men, or whatever stupid fucking negative-based, hate-based argument that you have, which is all based in fear. You cannot rationalize that and prove it in any way whatsoever. So anytime people have a viewpoint that's anti-anything or based on hatred, it holds absolutely zero water, and holes can be poked in it faster than you can shit or go blind.
So I'm watching this manosphere thing, and it really is super toxic. I don't like the term toxic masculinity because to me, masculinity is a positive statement about being strong, persevering, working hard, providing, protecting, presiding over your family. So like that term toxic masculinity, I really don't like it, but that movie showed the toxic side of the manosphere. Guys who essentially hate women, who have had bad experiences with them, which we all have, but who haven't worked on themselves, who haven't resolved their fucking toxicity, their toxic shame.
And they're putting it now on this documentary, and it's unfortunate that Louis wouldn't have given me a chance to speak my voice because it didn't go into their narrative, which was basically, here's the manosphere. As you can see, it's like super fucking toxic, so let's go ahead and get rid of that shit. No, no, no, no. We need voices like mine because there has been an extreme swing to the opposite side, which came from the feminism movement. Look, I'm a big supporter of the feminism movement in certain ways where women are equal.
Of course, they deserve the right to vote. They deserve their place. Of course, they have value. I say it all the time. I always say, in some ways, women are superior to men, but when it comes to male-female attraction, the man has to lead. And in some ways, it's interesting because the woman is actually leading. What do I always tell you guys? Lead women to where they want to be led. Only escalate when she's ready to escalate. It's on her terms. She's the barometer, as I always say.
So in that respect, in a way, women kind of lead it. Of course, women have value, but so do men. So this feminism movement also created some toxicity where you had like really angry women saying that men have no worth, and you'll see these women come on certain podcasts where it's like, oh, we don't need men. Men are useless. Fuck them. Get rid of them all. And I'm just sitting there laughing. Who's going to build the buildings? Who's going to fix the cars? Who's going to build the infrastructure?
Who's going to impregnate you to have more children? Who's going to protect the family? Who's going to, in some cases, be the provider? So to me, it's just ridiculous when you have these extreme views. And unfortunately, it's just out there. And that's the majority of what the media is trying to push because it sells, right? My message, which is everybody has value. Ultimately, when it comes down to the spiritual side of things, we're all equal. We're all part of God. We all have God essence inside of us, kind of like a river going over a cliff into a waterfall.
And we all divide into individual droplets. And then at the end, we come together again. That's what I believe we are. So is one person better than the other? No. As I always say, even a homeless person who to you seems like a complete piece of shit has something to teach you and has worth. So there's been a big swing towards the feminism movement, which I think is good for women's rights. But unfortunately, there are some negative voices in that space, which are anti-male. Well, I'm here to defend the men and say, hey, we have value too, right?
Everybody has value. We're not better than you are. We're all equal. So let's work together. Why does there have to be so much hatred? Honestly, boys, I think human consciousness is evolving. And I think this is a step in the evolution of human consciousness. And things need to break down before they can be built up again. And I think a lot of this toxicity is being exposed to the light. You have Epstein. You have P. Diddy. And now you have Andrew Tate. It can't last. And the next step of human evolution is, and I use this word very carefully, but it is based on love.
You have value. I have value. Let's play upon our strengths. I'm the protector. I'm strong. I can move the furniture. Let me go out there and hunt that fucking elk and provide for my family. Meanwhile, play upon your strengths. Men who say that women have no value absolutely blow my fucking mind. What about your mom? If you have a sister, what about her? Your cousin or for you guys who are fathers, what about your daughters? I just don't understand that. I saw this thing on Instagram that just really blew me away because it made it so clear how valuable women are.
He said if there was a portal that we had on earth where new babies would come from, right? It's just a black ball in the middle of some desert and every five minutes a new baby pops out. We would worship that portal like nothing else on earth. We would send it flowers. We would protect it. We would say it was sacred. We would say it was God. Well, what is a woman? A woman is a being who produces other beings. In certain societies, they actually view women as goddesses because that's what they are.
But men are gods too. Look at all the amazing things that men have done, the contributions that they've made to society. We are both gods and goddesses. So let's work together. And once again, boys, base everything on love. So the red pill, the red pill is basically from the movie The Matrix. It's basically like if you take the blue pill, you're going to be kept in illusion where if you think doting upon a woman, buying her shit, blowing smoke up her ass and crying in her lap, hoping that your tears will be used as lubricant for sex will convince her to date you, you're fucking delusional, as we've all found out.
The red pill is here's the reality of it. Women want you to lead to where they want to be led to. Women want you to be strong, masculine, confident in yourself, decisive, ambitious, a risk taker. All these things are the red pill waking you up to what really is. Now, as the guy who invented it, I think his name is Tomasi or something like that. He said the red pill can't be summed up on a bumper sticker. It's more like a senior thesis of how complex it is.
But that's my bumper sticker analysis. It's basically like here's how female psychology works. Here's the way to leverage it to your advantage so you can get the best woman possible to start your family and raise it like a man fucking should. Now, I'm going to round out this podcast with a quick story about something that's actually happening to me in my life when it comes to what I do for work and how there's a certain woman who's completely hating on me because she assumes I'm something that I'm not.
And I think this is going to be a good example of how I feel we should all be because this is what I'm trying to do. And this is what I'm trying to be in the face of something that should ultimately make me very angry and ultimately should make me very toxic. But because I preach the evolution of human consciousness, because I preach working through love rather than hate. And remember, hate just comes from fear. That whole documentary was just fear, bro. That's all that thing was.
But instead of living that way, I'm going to show you how I'm trying to live up to what I preach because this is very difficult and this has been a very big struggle for me. So let me explain. So I live in a pretty affluent neighborhood. As some of you guys know, my podcast, my coaching program has been extremely successful and I've been extremely blessed with the fruits of my work. And because of that, I've been able to buy a big house right next to the Rocky Mountains near Red Rocks.
Have you guys ever heard of that Red Rocks Amphitheater over here in Morrison, Colorado? So we live in this neighborhood and there's a lot of just like really kick-ass people in the neighborhood. We have doctors, we have lawyers, just everybody's fucking awesome and everyone's real positive. Well, there's one lady and I'm not going to tell you what she does because I want to respect her privacy. But there's one lady who lives in the adjacent cul-de-sac who just wouldn't talk to me. So I met her one time and I'm like, hey, nice to meet you.
My name's Mark. What's your name? She was real standoffish, right? And me being the guy that I am and having the philosophy that I always tell you guys is I'm like, is she like attracted to me or something? Like what the fuck is with this chick? But she just wouldn't talk to me. So as time went, it got worse and worse. She wouldn't make eye contact. She wouldn't talk to me. And I learned later that she's like some super left-leaning liberal who has a job in the liberal space.
So Marissa and I were talking about her one night and she's like, dude, I think she found out you're a dating coach for men. And I think she's just pigeonholing you and fucking hating on you. So time goes on. And apparently this woman, I'm not going to even say her name because I'm respecting her privacy. This woman said something in the girl's thread. Now think about this, boys. In the girl's thread for our neighborhood, there's 67 women in here. And this lady like yelled at everybody not to light fireworks because there's like a fire ban in Colorado.
She just like did it in a very socially unintelligent way. So we all get together the day after 4th of July and we're all like talking and there's literally everybody hating on this chick, right? They're like, oh, this chick, this, oh, this chick, that. And me, the one guy who she hates most of all was the one who defended her. I said, guys, let's not do this, man. Let's not gossip. Let's not talk shit. We don't know what her situation is. We don't know if she's been like abused as a child or she's had some like super negative childhood experience or, and I know this for a fact, she goes and she explores like third world countries and stuff.
That's part of her job. We don't know what she's seen. So the fact that she's assuming I'm a piece of shit because I teach men how to be confident and it's funny to me because like I literally teach guys how to love themselves. I have it written on my spreadsheet that says my purpose is to love my clients so that they can learn how to love themselves again. I'm just like, why is this chick hating on me, dude? I don't fucking get it. So they're all hating on her and I'm the one defending her because again, I just always ask myself, what would love do now?
And if somebody hates you and you respond to them with love, you just won no matter how toxic they are. You just took it to the higher level and this is the evolution of consciousness. When I think to this lady, I'm like, dude, how bad must her life suck to have the kind of energy where she's just going to hate somebody without really getting to know them? Like, did she ask me, Hey, I want to learn more about your work. What do you do? What do you teach?
No, she didn't ask me that. She just assumed, Oh, he's a dating coach for men. He's a piece of shit. Yeah. Maybe she went on my Instagram and honestly, I don't even run my Instagram. I have a team that runs it. And honestly, there are some controversial things said on there, but that's how you get followers, right? Like I'm a marketer, but has she listened to my podcast? Has she asked me to have a conversation? Maybe go out to lunch together. Dude, I would be stoked to go out to lunch with her and be like, Hey, this is what I think.
I think, as I just said in this episode, men have value. Women have value. Let's play to our strengths and let's always make our decisions through love. So I was telling Marissa, I was like, let's, let's invite him over for dinner, dude. She's like, no, I just don't want to have anything to do with it. So I'm respecting that, but here's what I'm going to do. Every time I see her, I'm going to be nice. I'm going to be cool. I'm going to continue to be the way I am, which is smile on my face, having a good life.
Like, Hey, I'm one of life's big winners. Come join me in the party. Come learn about me. Come give me a chance. Because if she's that toxic towards me, just imagine how much she's suffering in her work. You know, she's got enemies at work. You know, she holds grudges. Guys, we were watching the world cup, right? It was, um, England versus Norway. We're watching the world cup and it was like a big party and she was there and I was there. So I'm sitting on the couch and I'm with four other dudes and her, and that's it.
There's like six of us and all of us are talking and making comments. But every time, like I directed a comment towards her, she just completely flat out ignore me. Then we crossed paths. It was so funny. We crossed paths in the kitchen. I'm walking towards her and I'm smiling, like expecting to make eye contact. She's just staring at the floor and I was telling Marissa about it. And we're like, dude, we actually like feel bad for her. We feel compassion for her because how bad do you have to suffer to carry that kind of toxicity and like hold a grudge about somebody you've never even talked to.
So that's what I'm trying to say, boys, is look, she hates me and that hurts, man. Like I feel kind of bad about that. She's not even giving me a chance because what I do for a living and both Marissa and I are like, Hey, let's take the path of love and not judge her, not be angry at her, but instead have compassion for her and try to reach a hand out to her and say, Hey, let's be friends. Let's really get to know each other.
I think that's the next stage in human evolution. And if I preach it to you guys, I have to do it too, no matter how hard it is. Don't get it twisted. There's a part of me that's like, dude, fuck that bitch, man. Like fuck her. And I want to talk shit in my head, but I catch myself because if I preach it, I have to live it. And I honestly feel the universe has given me an opportunity to do that with this woman. And I'm going to always act through love.
So that's what I think, boys. I think there's a ton of toxicity out there. I think Andrew Tate is a part of that. And I think he probably, probably not proven yet, but probably did some shit that he's later going to regret. And I think that before you can have growth, you have to have collapse. And this is the old ways of thinking, the old consciousness, the ego, the fear, the hatred, the toxicity, basically imploding in on itself so that something new can grow out of it.
As they always say, the lotus flower grows out of mud. And this beautiful purple red flower just comes up out of the mud. Like, where did that come from? Out of that disgusting, putrid mud, this beautiful flower emerges. And that's what I think is happening with human consciousness. And instead of being yet another negative voice in the quote unquote manosphere, I want to be a positive voice. So that's my message today, boys. I hope it's giving you some food for thought, not like a ton of learning in this one.
But I think it's important that you think about it and maybe you agree with me, maybe you don't. But this is my contribution to try to awaken more people to the next path of human consciousness, which is love. And from love comes peace, which ultimately is what we all want. So let's work together and get it, man. The solution is very simple. But that damn ego, the ego is not your amigo. It keeps getting in the way, but it'll collapse eventually. The ego is there to be the opposite of love so that we can know what love really is.
You cannot have a full experience unless your picture has both black and white. But eventually, the black in that picture is going to crumble so that we can wake up to what we are, which is love. All right, gentlemen, I hope you enjoyed this one. And as a reminder, I drop podcasts every Tuesday, so I will see you in the next episode. What is up, brother?
