Welcome to the Unapologetic Man Podcast, the only podcast that's all about self-improvement, confidence, success, women, and being a man without making any apologies for it. What is up, you champions? Thank you for tuning in to another episode of the UMP. I really do appreciate you. And this one, gentlemen, I have been wanting to do for literally the last two to three years. And the reason I haven't done it is because unfortunately, when I talk about spirituality, I get a lot of hatred. Why do I get a lot of hatred?

Because there's a lot of differing beliefs out there and people get butthurt whenever you try to challenge their beliefs. So if you're ensconced in your belief system, definitely click away from this one because this is simply my opinion. Do I know that this is the truth? Obviously not. Nobody has the truth. In my opinion, until you die, we just don't know. And in my opinion, part of the purpose of life is to not know. So the way I think of it is you could get 99 steps up to the castle, but the 100th step is simply a leap of faith.

And that's what I'm putting out there right now. So if you don't agree with me, that's absolutely fine, brother. Please don't waste your time or my time by emailing me about it. I also unfortunately don't have time to get into conversations about this. If perhaps you agree with some of what I say and you don't agree with other things that I say, I just don't have the time. Take this podcast the way you will either getting some nuggets from it or throwing it out completely. It doesn't matter.

This is simply my opinion. This is simply what I believe. And it literally has nothing to do with you. Because brother, you have to figure out your own way. Again, with the castle analogy, there are millions of ways to the castle. How you get there is up to you. The way it was put to me once that I really liked was if you had kids and you hadn't seen them for decades and you love them more than life itself, you wouldn't care what kind of car was bringing them back to you when they jumped out of the car and they finally came back to you.

And that's a good analogy for religion. That's a good analogy for spirituality, which I'm going to talk about today. It's only the vehicle. And it doesn't matter what kind of vehicle it is. Does it get you back to God? Yes or no? If it does, then God's happy. He doesn't give a shit about the kind of vehicle that you pulled up in. So today is my 600th episode. And like I said, I was putting it off because of fear. I just don't want to deal with all the bullshit.

But I'm doing it because I'm very passionate about this. And something I've never mentioned before is after I retire from being a dating coach, I am going to start a spirituality podcast. This is part of my purpose here on earth, I personally believe. And I'm super passionate about it. I've been studying this stuff for 25 years. I've taken all the best knowledge that I could possibly accrue. And I'm going to give it to you guys and what I feel is the purpose of life. Now, this doesn't only come from things like the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, A Course in Miracles, the Tao Te Ching, but also from literally hundreds if not thousands of accounts of near-death experiences that I believe cannot be refuted.

And I'm going to talk about that in a second. So what I've done is I've researched the shit out of this because it really bothers me that I don't know why we're here. I want to know what the damn purpose is, as I'm sure you do too, especially if you clicked on this episode. I feel I have discovered the purpose just based on everything that I've researched. In my opinion, the evidence is so overwhelming. It can't be refuted. And I'm going to talk to you about that today.

But listen, if you're Buddhist, if you're Christian, if you're whatever, don't get butthurt about this. Take nuggets from it that you too believe and try to use those nuggets to better your life. If you don't believe anything I say, as I alluded to earlier, then throw it out, bro. Have a strong frame. Be seated in your own reality. Don't let me get into your frame. Take what you agree with, throw out the rest, and be done with it. That's the purpose of this episode. So this is, as I mentioned, my 600th episode.

And I was actually looking at my first episode, and I freaking hurt my fingers scrolling down through 600 episodes to figure out when the first episode was. It was August 2nd, 2018. So I've essentially been doing this for just over six years. And brothers, I am so thankful. Thankful to you for listening to this podcast, following me, supporting me. I honestly cannot express enough just how much you guys mean to me. And you listening, yes, you individually. I may not know you. We may have never talked before.

But brother, I am sending you a sincere debt of gratitude because it's dudes like you that have allowed me to do this podcast, which has been a dream come true for me. As I said, after I've completed my dating coaching, which honestly, I think I have about two or three more years left in me. After I've done that, I'm going to go full headlong into the spirituality thing because this is part of my passion. Definitely attracting women, NLP, all the stuff I talk about is obviously a passion.

I've done 600 freaking episodes on it of 20 minutes each. It's obviously a very deep passion. But I feel like the final step for me is spirituality. And I want to get to the point where I've taught you guys everything I know about attracting women, which of course is in my three-month coaching program. But I'm going to do this podcast until the wheels fall off. I'm just going to give it everything I can until spirit kind of tells me that it's time to move on to my spirituality podcast, which I think is really needed in today's age because we are very lost.

We are seeped in the ego and that's the next step for me. So the purpose of life, gentlemen, cannot believe I'm finally doing this. Fucking have shivers going down my arms. I love talking about this stuff so much. I'm so excited to share with you my 25 plus years of research coming from all the masters, all the guys who have accomplished what each of us is trying to accomplish, which is what? Peace, happiness, enthusiasm, just a general sense of contentment. And when I thought about what it was that we're all trying to achieve, I looked to the masters, guys that have enriched enlightenment, guys that have reached that higher stage of consciousness, which I believe is the purpose of life.

So if we were to look at God and when God first existed, he was nothing but light. And I'm going to use the pronoun he for the sake of ease. Of course, it's he and she. It's both masculine and feminine. I'm just going to use he for the sake of example. So when God, if you will, source energy, all that is first came into existence. And that too is a misnomer because it was never born. It always was. But at one point, God had to look at itself and say, what am I?

Can I truly know myself when all I am is the light? All I am is love. And that's what I believe God is. God is the light. God is love. And that's all that is. And I'm going to get to that in a second. So God looks at itself and says, what am I? How can I know myself when all there is, is light? All there is, is love. Say, for example, in your entire reality, everything was blue. Would you know what blue is? No, you wouldn't.

Just like a fish doesn't know what water is because it's constantly seeped within it. So God looks at itself and says, I'm the light, but what is the light? I feel love, but what is love? Well, God couldn't know itself without experiencing the opposite. How do you experience the opposite of love? Well, the opposite of love is fear. And the only way to experience what you truly are is to forget what you truly are. Come into a simulation, which I believe this is. It's a lot like the matrix.

It's a complete simulation of love and fear because hate is not the opposite of love. Fear is the opposite of love. So in the God mind, he thought to himself, if I were to create a bunch of individuations of myself, putting a piece of myself into each one of them, kind of like drops coming from a river, going over a waterfall, separating and forgetting that they actually are part of the waterfall, then they can have an experience with each other in duality. Duality, once again, is love and fear.

So God created us, you and me as individuations of itself so that it could look back on itself and wake up to what it truly is, but having to do so by first forgetting what it is and going through the stages of ego. Now, the ego is your egoic self. It's the mind, it's thinking, it's desire, it's aversion, and it's fear. The ego, which makes you want to be better than other people, which makes you care about your reputation, which makes you do sinful things, which I'm going to talk about in a second, is nothing but fear.

And that's the opposite of what you truly are because deep within you, there is a soul that is nothing but love. That is who you are. When you are loving, when you are enthusiastic, when you are just yourself without trying to prove anything or get anything over on other people, and when you're acting completely fearlessly, that's who you truly are. You are love, and that is an individuation of God. So the reason we're here is to have an experience of fear, think that's what we are, buy into it completely, think that this is all there is, and then wake up to what we really are so that God can know himself.

And that's the purpose of life. The only way you can know white is if there's also black, and that's what duality is. Love and fear, black and white, two different opposing energies that allow us to wake up to, again, what we truly are, which is a piece of God, which is love. Now, as we live our lives, we learn very quickly that when we act on the ego, which again is desire and aversion. I desire to get laid. I desire to make as much money as possible.

I desire to be somebody. I'm going to fuck everybody over so I can get mine. And aversion is, I don't want to have pain. I don't want to have suffering. I don't want to go get my back operated on, which I talked about in my previous episode, because I'm fearful. When you have that operating in your life, it creates suffering. Suffering is attracted to you in order to do one thing and one thing only, wake you up to the errors of your ways. Sin, in its original translation, means to miss the mark.

As an archer is shooting an arrow at a target and misses the mark, that's the original Greek translation. When you sin, such as missing the mark, screwing people over, telling lies, eating shitty food, you create suffering for yourself. And in my opinion, and again, if you disagree with this, that's completely fine. Have your frame. I'm going to have mine. In my opinion, the original translation of sin means to miss the mark. You act in a way that is derived of your ego, which again is based on fear and desire.

You act in a way that's based on your ego and you create suffering for yourself, therefore taking yourself to hell. And this is where I think the Bible is mistranslated. I believe that sin means to miss the mark. You're acting on your ego. You're creating suffering for yourself. Therefore, you're going to go to hell. Heaven, on the other hand, is gained when you act through love, when you act through compassion. When you're a good person and you put out there that loving energy, you get back to you what you attract.

Now, the law of attraction, which I've spoken about many times in this episode, is built into this entire system. The way it works is just how I explained. When you act with negativity, you attract yourself negativity. When you act with positivity and love, you attract yourself positivity and love. And the biggest reason this acts in your life is to wake you up to what you truly are. When you've stabbed enough people in the back, sinned, quote unquote, you realize that you attract to yourself nothing but suffering.

This wakes you up to the fact that everything that is done through the ego only creates more suffering. And we are not suffering. We are light. We are part of God. That's why we want nothing to do with it. When you realize what you do for another, you do for yourself. When I'm a good person, good things happen to me. When I put out good energy, good energy comes back to bless me with its love and insight. You realize that that's the path to heaven. And this is where Christians get it right.

Christians understand that when you do as Jesus would do, the old what would Jesus do bracelet, your life becomes better and you get to heaven. But in my opinion, it's not heaven as a place that's out there, which I do believe exists. And I'm going to talk about that in a second. It's heaven here on earth. And boys, this earth is a paradise. And if we all acted through love, if we all tried to help each other, if we were sharing resources, if we did for another, what we wanted to be done for ourselves, this would be a paradise.

But why is it hell on earth in some places? Because of the ego. Did you guys know there's over a hundred wars going on right now? Not only between Ukraine and Russia, but all over the earth. Why is that? Egos. Egos trying to overcome other egos. I'm going to get mine. I'm going to screw you over. Creating hell on earth. And right now there's a very powerful energy that's creating more and more suffering. Because in my opinion, the ego is about to die on a very mass level of consciousness.

And we are going to have a worldwide awakening within the next about 10 years. That's what my opinion is. That's what near-death experiencers have been saying, channelers, ascended masters. They say that right now there's a tumultuous vibration through the entire earth. And I think you guys can relate to this, where the ego is imploding upon itself. And it has to implode upon itself because it is nothing but fear. And why was it put inside of us? So that we can wake up to what we truly are.

You are here to experience that you are a piece of God who has God power within yourself. That's why you can create. You are given the power to create just like God can create. But what do you create? You create your reality, either by acting through the ego or by acting through love. And when you act through the ego, you create nothing but suffering for yourself. When you act through love, you create literally peace on earth, peace within your own life. And this is what all the ascended masters say.

I have read book upon book upon book. And if you look at it, they all basically say the same thing. God is love. We are here to be in a situation of duality, to wake up to what we really are. Now you as a creator have the ability to choose who you want to be and create yourself in the next best version of the greatest thought that you ever had about who you really are. And that's your job here. And every time you start to procrastinate on it, every time you go the wrong direction, what does life do?

Kind of smacks you upside the head, doesn't it? If you rob a guy, that energy will come back to you and you're probably going to get money taken from you too, which is exactly what happened to me if you've been listening to my podcast. I used to rob people when I was driving strippers and I just got robbed because of cause and effect. If on the other hand, you act through love, then you get attracted to you back all these glorious things, which is happening to me too.

I have a very successful podcast. I have amazing clients. I have an amazing woman, an amazing child. We just bought this beautiful new house in Morrison, Colorado. My life is literally like a dream come true because I've been acting through love. So the purpose of life is to wake up to what you truly are. Now, what does that mean? Wake up. I believe that we reincarnate until we get enlightened, just like Jesus was, just like Buddha was, Lao Tzu, Paramahansa Yogananda, Lahiri Mahasaya, and a bunch of other masters that we've never heard about, where they followed the path of love.

They went within because even the Bible says God is within you. They discovered that God piece within them and woke up to what we really are. And you might look at a Buddhist monk who lives the path of quote unquote renunciation, shaves his head. All he has is a very humble robe and he meditates all day. You look at that dude and you're like, are you serious, bro? That looks like misery. That looks like the most boring shit ever. But as it says in Autobiography of a Yogi, which is a book that I strongly recommend, and I'm going to recommend some books at the end of this episode, you are striving after a few measly dollars when there is a treasure within you that is millions of times beyond what you could ever get in this world.

And that's what it says in the Bible too. And I'm paraphrasing, don't strive after riches when the riches are within God, which are within you. And this is what happens in near death experiences, which again, guys, if this interests you in any way whatsoever, I strongly suggest you go to YouTube, type in near death experience. And there are literally thousands upon thousands upon thousands of videos of people who have died, quote unquote, one to the other side, got all this wisdom and came back. Now you may say to me, Mark, how could you believe that shit?

Are you really that stupid that you would believe this? It's just a hallucination. The reason I believe it is because they come back with information that you can't get from a hallucination. For example, they come out of their body and go over to their mom's house, hear a conversation, come back to their body after their near death experience and tell their mom about the exact conversation they had, what they were eating, what they were wearing. This happens time after time after time where you're given information, there's no way you could have gotten otherwise.

And that's what I like to look for is this real scientific evidence. Okay, how is this happening? Could this possibly be true? In my opinion, it is true. We reincarnate and when we die, you go to heaven, which means you reunite with God, which almost every near death experiencer says is infinitely more positive than the best orgasm and the best party you've ever had in your life. When you reunite with the light, which is what you truly are, it is going to be the best moment of your life.

And I know that may be controversial, but the day of your death is going to be the best thing that ever happened to you. Because think about it. You are light, you are love, you are exaltation, you are a hundred thousand X, the best experience you've ever had in this body. And now you've forgotten about that. You've come into this incarnation. Life is fucking hard. You've had a bunch of bullshit happen to you, a bunch of traumas, people saying mean things to you. You're not good with women.

You've been rejected by women. It's hard, man. And that's part of the purpose so that you can wake up to what you really are either in this lifetime as enlightenment or next lifetimes. Or when you die, you're like, holy shit, dude, that was all an illusion. The illusion is there so that you can experience what you are not, so that you can know what you truly are. And that's why you're here. You're in this shithole, which is a shithole for you when you're seeped in your ego, which we all are.

You're in this shithole. And then you wake up to this absolute paradise of what you really are. You're unconditionally loved. Even if you were a douche canoe in your lifetime, which God knows we all were. Even if you were a horrible person, you are accepted. You are unconditionally loved. It's like getting the love of a million Italian grandmothers as one near-death experience or put it. And it's nothing but unconditional. You do have a life review where you go through your life and you get to see all the things that you did and you get to experience how you made other people feel.

So that guy that I robbed that money from when I was driving strippers, I'm going to experience what he felt when he was running after me, crying, calling my name, saying, please don't rob me. I got to experience that. I have to experience the pain of all the women whose hearts I've broken because we're here to learn the consequences. It's not hell. It's not judgment. It's not punishment. It's simply experience. And that's the point of why we're here. You are me. I am you. We are part of the same over soul, if you will.

I'm not saying we're the exact same soul, we come from the same tree. We're like different leaves on the same tree, having an experience. So what I do to you happens straight back to me. And what I take from you also happens straight back to me via the law of attraction. So to create the reality that you want, only focus on what you want to manifest. Feel what it's like to have it now. Command your life to be the way you want it to be because brother, as I always say, you are a part of God and God isn't minimized to a little piece inside of you.

You have the power that God has inside of you and you are creating whether you know it or not. And now that you do know it, and I'm telling you, this is the way it works. Now that you do know it, choose your thoughts very carefully. Only focus on that which you want. Only focus on love and exaltation. Treat others the way that you want to be treated. If you want love, give love. If you want to laugh, give laughter. If you want to get better with women, give women something of value so that they will value you back.

And for God's sakes, gentlemen, do not sin. And I'm not saying you're going to go to hell because hell is an illusion. It doesn't even exist. In fact, in the Bible, when they say the fires of hell, he was referring to a trash dump in Jerusalem. If you sin, your life's going to be like burning in that trash dump. But the Vatican changed it so that they could have power over people. Completely different podcast episode, maybe in my future episode. Because when you sin, quote unquote, you are creating hell for yourself.

Hell is here on earth, but heaven is here on earth too. Isn't that amazing that we can have two completely different realities? Look at the dark ages where all we did was kill each other and there was disease and famine. And then look what could be. If we were all just to realize this truth that we are all one, we are all from God, we are all powerful creators. What you do for another, you do for yourself. So share the resources, help out your brother, and we can literally have heaven here on earth.

Now that brings up a difficult question. Well, you're saying there's no hell, Mark. You're saying there's no punishment. It's nothing but unconditional love. What about Hitler? What about all these horrible people that do horrible things to others? Now, obviously, boys, I'm not an enlightened master. I don't have the total picture, but I have faith that even a dude like Hitler has his purpose. And I also have faith that Hitler was created out of a collective consciousness of hatred. It wasn't just one man. The entire country of Germany was complicit with what he was doing.

In fact, much of the world was complicit. You only have monsters when the collective consciousness—and believe me, this is a collective consciousness. I'm affecting you. You're affecting me. What you do affects the other, and what he does affects you. When you have a collective consciousness, you get people like Hitler. You get people like Putin. You get Kim Jong-un, right, who are creating suffering in this world because they are suffering in a collective environment of suffering. But as I've said, our entire purpose here is to evolve to the point where we wake up to what we truly are, and suffering becomes a thing of the past.

But right now, we're in an energy flux where the ego, which is responsible for people like Hitler, Putin, and everybody else, is about to self-destruct. That's why it seems like things are getting better, while at the same time, things are getting worse. It's because the consciousness is growing. And for God's sakes, if you're still listening right now, 25 minutes in or whatever it is, your consciousness is growing too. That's growing, but so is the ego. So is fear. And guys, that's the point. That's why we're here.

So don't curse it. Use it as a tool. And understand that even the shitty things that happen to you have a purpose. And they are there to wake you up. Things do not happen to you. They happen for you. And when you think in this way, that yes, the universe is benevolent, which by the way, is the most important decision you will ever make, according to Einstein, whether the universe is benevolent or malevolent, I've decided that it's benevolent. I believe that God is love. We are here to wake up to what we truly are by experiencing what it is that we are not, which is fear, ego, and hatred because the universe is benevolent.

I have faith in everything, even those bad things that happen to me. And yes, gentlemen, I do believe the best day of my life will be the day that I pass away to wake up to what I truly am. Now, I do believe that we reincarnate. I wholly believe that. There's so much evidence for it. It's absolutely ridiculous. Just do a dive on YouTube. I mean, you'll be convinced within two hours. There's just too much evidence to refute it. And actually in the original scriptures, they talk about reincarnation, but they erase that part because you can't have power over people if they think they're going to have another chance.

The only way you get power over people is tell them they're going to go to hell if they sin. That's a lot of power. And if you give us more money, you'll be absolved of your sins. Guys, in my opinion, Christianity has a ton of amazing lessons. I think Jesus was an enlightened master. I think he was a yogi. And there's actually scrolls in Tibet that talk about a dude from Israel who got enlightened in Tibet doing Buddhist practices and then went back to Israel. I think Christianity has a lot of good things, but I think it's been vastly misinterpreted to have power over people for money and power.

Just my opinion, if you're a Christian, you can still do what Jesus did and be a great person. But living a life of fear because of hell, what kind of loving God would send his child to hell if the child makes a mistake? I'll tell you what, I have a daughter and there's literally nothing she could do that would make me stop loving her. Would I expect less of God? Obviously not. So gentlemen, again, take this if you will. There's so much more I could talk about, but I see I'm almost about 30 minutes right now, so I'm going to wrap it up.

Take the things you like throughout the rest. If you hated everything I said, fine. Own your frame. Own your belief systems. Because ultimately, your beliefs don't matter to what ultimately is. The only effect your beliefs have is what you're manifesting in your life right now. But as I said in the beginning of the show, we're all going to arrive to God in one way or another. Whether you show up in a lifted 4Runner with a sick-ass bumper or you show up in a freaking Honda Civic or a Porsche, it doesn't matter.

God is going to be happy to see you. You are going to reunite with him. But one thing I do want to tell you that's irrefutable. You are a powerful creator. So while you're here on this earth, whether you're Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, whatever you are, understand that your thoughts are creative and your thoughts are very powerful. So focus on the good. Focus on love. Avoid those ego traps like revenge and trying to get yours by screwing other people over. And you can't have heaven on earth.

Now, a few books I'd like to recommend are Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. It's one of the greatest books I've ever read. Such a beautifully written piece. And that guy, if you look in the book, the day he died, they took a picture of him and he's just radiating light. And he actually told his disciples, hey guys, I'm going to die today. I'm going to give a speech and then I'm going to go ahead and kick off my wave. And that's exactly what happened.

He gave a speech and the last thing he said is, and now I return to the earth. And then he just simply died. And yogis get to a point where they can actually leave their body at will, die when they want to. And that's what happened with him. Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. I suggest Conversations with God by Neil Donald Walsh. I suggest the Tao Te Ching, the Stephen Mitchell version. The next one is The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, who in my opinion too, is an enlightened master.

He has woken up fully to what he is. He had an ego death, realizing his ego was just an illusion. And now he is, in my opinion, an enlightened being walking on this earth. There's a million other books, but I'll just leave you with those four for now. Unfortunately, guys, I don't have a lot of time to email back and forth. I'm really busy with my coaching clients who are always my first priority. So unfortunately, I can't really talk to you guys about this. But I would also suggest checking out YouTube videos, specifically the near-death experience videos.

And if you're open-minded, I really like this podcast called Next Level Soul Podcast. I really enjoy watching the channels that come on there. And a channel is basically channeling an entity, and they speak about love and compassion. And those are the only types of guests that he has on that show. That's the kind of show that I eventually want to start. My dream is to interview guys like Eckhart Tolle, like Bashar, if you've ever heard of him, and other types of channels. My dream is to talk to dozens, if not hundreds of near-death experiencers, because this is my ultimate passion.

I'd say dating and girls is an ultimate passion as well. But this, in my opinion, is the tippity top that I'm eventually going to get to in the next couple of years. I feel it calling to me. I feel it's part of my journey. It's part of my purpose here. And I also believe that we write certain aspects of our life, certain things that we're going to do. But ultimately, you have free will. You came in as a male, and that was meant to be. You chose your parents.

That was meant to be. You were born in the time and state and presence that you were supposed to be born in. But you were simply given the canvas and the art brushes. And now you paint the life that you want to have. I believe that's the way it works. And I believe, as I said, that your entire purpose here is to wake up to what you truly are. Experience what you are not so you can know what you really are, which is love. And brother, finally, you are a powerful creator.

So choose your thoughts carefully because they are literally creating your reality. Gentlemen, I really enjoyed this one. Man, I just had shivers the whole time. I love talking about this shit. If you enjoyed it, fine. If you didn't, that's fine too. Again, hold your frame. Have your own opinion. It really doesn't matter because we're all going to find out the truth the moment we die. Or I guess it could be said maybe we won't. Maybe it just goes black. I don't believe that. There's absolutely too much evidence to say it's the otherwise.

But who knows what's going to happen? So live life well. Be the best version of yourself. Choose your thoughts carefully and get to the next grandest version of the greatest idea you ever had about who you really are. That's where contentment lies. And I will see you in the next episode.
