The CIA Spent Millions Creating These 10 Emotional Power Phrases

About this episode

When you deliver the right words, with the right tonality, you can have massive influence over how other people feel and react to you.

This isn't just some hocus-pocus; the CIA has invested substantial amounts of money into understanding why we can assert so much power by using specific phrases.

Mark has done extensive research into what these phrases are, and in today's episode, you'll learn 10 of them to help you turn conversations and interactions with women in your favor.

Do you guys know why women are attracted to men who can make them laugh and guys who can keep them interested in the conversation? The simple reason is it shows intelligence. It not only shows emotional intelligence, but it shows intelligence in a way that you could probably provide future resources to her and her family and or pass on strong genes to her children. Welcome to the Unapologetic Man Podcast. The only podcast that's all about self-improvement, confidence, success, women, and being a man without making any apologies for it.

What is up, you absolute legends? Thank you for tuning in to another episode of the UMP. And today, boys, we're going to talk about how the CIA spent millions creating the 10 emotional power phrases that I'm about to teach you. Did this really come from the CIA? It actually did. I've been doing a lot of research through the years on FBI negotiators, CIA spies. These kinds of things really interest me. I've read a ton of books about it. I've watched tons of podcasts and tons of videos on it.

And these are 10 emotional power phrases that you can throw into your conversations with women. But not only that, actually throw into text messages with women to get them more attracted to you. Obviously, guys, you know that if you go into a conversation with a woman and you ask the same boring interview type questions that every other guy asks her, she's going to lose attraction for you. So we need emotional spikes and an NLP, which of course is neuro linguistic programming, which is what I use. We also call these pattern interrupts.

If you're creating a pattern in her mind of boredom, which is what most guys do asking her those interview type of questions, she's going to continue the sense of boredom and she's not going to get attracted to you. If on the other hand, you do pattern interrupts by having emotional spike points in the conversation, not only with these 10 simple phrases that you can throw in that I'm going to teach you, but also with what you talk about frame control, emotional triggering gambits that of course I teach my guys in my three month coaching program, then what's going to happen?

She's going to get attracted to you. Do you guys know why women are attracted to men who can make them laugh and guys who can keep them interested in the conversation? The simple reason is it shows intelligence. It not only shows emotional intelligence, but it shows intelligence in a way that you could probably provide future resources to her and her family and, or pass on strong genes to her children. Women love humor because it signifies intelligence and women also love emotional spike points because if you can elicit emotions in her, that two points to emotional intelligence.

Intelligence is extremely attractive. So rather than trying to show her that you're attractive because you have a degree or something to that point, you have to show intelligence in your conversation by getting her into her emotions. This fundamentally is why it's attractive. And obviously the CIA, as well as other three letter agencies have spent a lot of money figuring this shit out. And I got to say something, that title is literally the best title I've come up with. And what is it now? 640 episodes. The CIA spent millions creating these 10 emotional power phrases.

I cannot wait to see what the click-through rate is on that title. And boys, as I always do, I'm going to over-deliver. So let's get into them. Now to preface this, these are little bits of statements that you say before you talk about something else. So these preface a story. These preface a building intrigue technique, like trying to get her more interested in what you have to say, these are just little spike points that you throw in. So let's go ahead and get with the first one.

The first one, which the CIA did research on, is just imagine if. Okay, so let's say you're talking to her and she's complaining about her job or something like that. You could say, for example, just imagine if you had enough money where you could just quit that job and do exactly what you wanted. What would you do if you didn't have to earn money anymore? What would you do with your time? So when you say, just imagine if, it opens up a world of possibilities, therefore hitting that emotional spike point, and therefore, yes, raising her attraction for you a little bit, or at the very least, raising her interest in speaking to you more.

The next one is, I need your help with something. Now, when I first heard this, I was a little bit doubtful, but as I continue to think about it from an NLP perspective, I could see why that would be an emotional trigger point because, say, for example, I asked you, hey, bro, I need your help with something. It would immediately spike in you curiosity. Well, what do you need my help with? What's so important that you need to bring me into the fold to solve? And that's why this one is so effective.

So you could be like, hey, I need your help with something. Would you go to that girl right there and just tap her on the shoulder and let her know that Mark is asking for her just right there? Or, hey, I need your help with something. Try to help me figure out what I could tell my friend Kelly, whose boyfriend made her stay home tonight while he actually went out. I need some help to figure out what I'm going to tell her to deal with this situation.

So once again, number two is, I need your help with something. The third one, and I love this one, is you're probably wondering why. You're probably wondering why. Now, what this does is it creates an open loop in their brain that they need to close. So when you say you're probably wondering why I came out with those two girls, you're probably wondering why I'm talking to you right now. You're probably wondering why I opened you with that specific question. Or you could even say this. You're probably wondering why I'm about to tell you the following story.

But stay tuned until the end because I promise you'll discover why that is. And this is what I do to you guys too on the podcast. If you listen really closely, I always tell you guys, stay tuned until the end because I have an awesome secret to share with you. And guys, I'm going to do it to you right now. Literally, brothers, stay tuned until the end because I'm going to teach you an NLP body language technique to make people agree with you. This is so fucking gangster.

You're probably wondering what it is. And you're probably wondering why I'm saving it until the end. Well, that's because it's so damn good. I want to keep you listening. I want to keep my statistics strong, therefore getting good search rankings and therefore attracting more people to my podcast. That's why I'm doing it. And you guys obviously saw what I just did. I worked in. You're probably wondering why into this very podcast. Say that to women. Very powerful. Another one I love is you won't believe this.

So let's say you're talking to a girl and it's kind of boring. And then you're like, oh, you won't believe this. It's almost like your friend coming up to you and being like, dude, you won't believe what Amy said. I can't believe this. It piques your curiosity. And that's what we want to do to create those emotional spike points. Keep her interested in the conversation, especially if she's looking around. You can tell you're kind of losing her. You could throw these in to keep her more engaged.

The next one is I know something about you. Now, this, for obvious reasons, is so powerful because it creates curiosity. It creates mystery. What do you know about me? That's immediately what she's thinking. And this, too, is what I like to use over texting. You could say, so, hey, Kelly, dot, dot, dot. And she's like, yeah, Mark. Then you say, so, I got to be honest with you. I know something about you, dot, dot, dot. Do you guys understand how fast she's going to text you back if you say something like that?

She's going to break the land speed record for text reply. You're going to be like, I know something about you. Send. And then her fucking reply is going to be in your inbox already before it even fully sends. You can't even finish the sentence because she's so interested. That elicits curiosity. The next one in the same vein is I just realized something about you. So as you're talking to her, you can use this emotional power phrase as a precursor to what I call cold reading. So she's talking and you're kind of looking at her and you say, oh, you know what?

I just realized something about you. And she's like, what's that? You can say, I just realized that you really take a lot of pride in your storytelling, don't you? Like the way you're telling that story, I can tell you're a good storyteller because like look at all the details. Look at all the emotion. I can tell you've done public speaking before. Is that true? So you do it as a precursor to a cold read. And a cold read is basically you making a statement about her.

You making an assumption about her, which is really powerful for attraction. The next one is there's something you need to know. Just imagine, boys, how much curiosity that produces. So for example, you could be like, so hey, there's something about that bartender you should know. And she's like, what? You'd be like, he doesn't really wash his hands. You know, I've seen him working for hours. I've never seen the guy once run his hands under the water. So if you're going to get anything specifically with some fruit in it, definitely do not get it from that guy because he is dirty.

Definitely go to a different bartender. All right. The next one is, oh, I forgot to tell you. So you could be talking to her and you could be like, oh, I forgot to tell you about the fight outside. Did you hear about that? And it gives you the ability to launch into a story. The next one is this, and I love it. You shouldn't know this, but, and oftentimes you could say this to set up maybe some gossip that you're going to tell her or something that she shouldn't know about the bar, the nightclub, wherever restaurant you guys happen to be at, whatever it is.

And once again, boys, you can send this over texting. In fact, a lot of these, I prefer to send over texting. And as I always say, when it comes to texting, you want to build intrigue. You want to build that mystery so that she comes back and you can get that conversation to stick. So for example, and you guys know, I love to do this. I love to just say her name and then dot, dot, dot, which I believe too is a good emotional power phrase because she's wondering what you're talking about.

So if you're like, so, Hey, Kelly, dot, dot, dot. And you say nothing else that creates an emotional spike where she's like, yeah, like, what do you want to know? And then you can say something to the effect of you shouldn't know this, but, and then you could do that too. You shouldn't know this, but dot, dot, dot. And that's all you say. And she's like, shouldn't know what. And then you could toss at her some piece of information that she shouldn't quote unquote know. The next one is in the same vein.

I shouldn't tell you this, but. So just imagine you're talking to a girl in a nightclub and it's kind of getting boring. And you're like, oh my God, I really shouldn't tell you this, but, and she's like, but what? And you'd be like, ah, I don't know. Can I trust you? And she's like, yeah, you could definitely trust me. You'd be like, you promise? She's like, of course I promise. You'd be like, you better not tell anybody. And she's like, I won't. You'd be like, pinky promise.

Come here, bring it in. You do understand that the pinky promise is substantiated by the United States Supreme Court is being legally binding. Correct, Jessica? And she's like, yeah, correct. You'd be like, all right, I shouldn't tell you this, but, and then you could tell her some sort of gossip. So this is a good way to once again, spike emotions, make it more interesting than the typical boring interview type conversations. And the next one is I can't believe this thing happened, but, and then you tell her the story.

So these are really good to set up stories and also again, to use over texting. All right, boys. Now for that NLP technique that is super powerful to try to get a girl to agree with you. So if you're watching on video, I want you to watch my hand. What you want to do is you want to actually spin your hand in a circle, kind of out in front of your face. It's a little bit difficult to explain over audio. So if you're listening over video, you can see what I'm doing.

You're kind of spinning your hand in a way while you're shaking your head yes, in order to get people to agree with you. So you'd be like, wouldn't you agree that when people are really cheap, it just makes them look unattractive. And you see how I'm kind of spinning my hand. What this does in NLP, it creates a pattern of agreement because logically and also subconsciously, when you're agreeing with something, you're nodding your head. Your head is basically going in an up and down motion. So when you're doing that with your fingers, they actually want to follow you subconsciously with the same type of body mannerism.

It's called mirroring. So if you could get somebody to mirror you just crossing your arms or crossing your legs or standing a certain way, that builds a lot of rapport and trust. But also if you're doing your hand in a circle, kind of imitating that nodding motion while you're nodding and saying something that you wanted to agree with, this works in the subconscious mind for them to want to mirror your body language and therefore subconsciously, they're going to agree with you. God, that was hard to explain, but I hope you guys got it.

So essentially, you're doing a little bit of a hypnosis technique and hypnotists will use this kind of stuff where you're like, wouldn't you agree that the Unapologetic Man podcast is like the best podcast you've ever heard? Naturally, because we're doing that motion with our fingers, they are going to be more likely to agree with it. So gentlemen, I hope you got something out of this. Obviously, it will probably require you listening to this again, sending it to a million friends, talking about it on forums, and liking, subscribing, and commenting on in a positive way.

All of my videos, all of my audios, we're talking Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, I'm on Instagram. Any follow, any subscribe, any like, any comment really helps me out, especially with YouTube, which my channel is moving slower than a glacier because I've been sandboxed by YouTube because what I talk about is controversial, your help there is really, really, really appreciated. And if you're watching our video, you just saw me do that same thing, trying to convince you guys to help me out. So boys, please go through this again, take notes on it, throw it into your conversations with women.

And when you see it working, you will know that what I share in the UMP does really work. It gets women more attracted to you because psychology is psychology, and attraction is not a choice.
